I had my first driving lesson today, 3 hours and 20 minutes, Started in Brighton, through broadmarsh, Elderslie, Pelham, into Hollow Tree (it got scary up this way), back to Bothwell, out to the highway and back down to Brighton, I swear I was driving for almost 2 1/2 hours before I could find a public loo cause I wasn't going to pee on the side of

I've never learned to drive - and I wonder whether I ever will do. I'm sure the sense of freedom it gives you is amazing though!

I didn't have much of a choice in the matter, my step father decided I was going to drive and that was it, nevermind I am technicaly a gown woman or anything, he seems to have selective deafness when it comes to people saying no, or I can't do that... "sure you can, go on" he says and just makes you do it.

I am now glad, I love driving now and am still aware more than enough that I am in a giant death trap and one moment of sillyness could cause a lot of damage, so I am still cautous and safe
