I'm constantly struck with the urge to exlain myself, but I can't find any words to do so. Instead, I listen to deranged singers explaining everything for me.

The doctor told me that I was going deaf,
I told him that he just needed to learn how to turn up the volume when a good song comes on.

okay this is off topic to what you posted but, anyways, what was the name of the program you were apart off last summer? The one where you went to D.C. and New York?

Was it CSLC, a program of lead America?

Because, I find this funny they send me: "Certificate of invitation in recongition of academic excellence(HA HA)extracurricular involement (yeah basketballs going...well...)and leadership potential(My hero satan). The board of directors and honoary board of advisors invite 'Deidre b.lacouture' to attend the 2006 congressional student leadership conference"

For some reason this made me laugh and want to attend all at the same time.

It was GYLC which is basically the same thing. They honored my "excellent GPA" and I about pissed myself.

It's soo worth a go though. I loved it even though I was lonely. It was nice to be alone in a big city.
