Don't have it. Your grandmother is passing/passed away and it's not the right time to do it. You should have it WHEN you want to have it and that's it. You're not being selfish either, Jeff is the one being selfish for making you go through something like this. He should be understand of all the circumstances. I'm neither you, nor your parents want there to be a show/bunch of kids/party when something this tragic just occured in your family.
Also, I'm sorry for your loss. Grandparents are wonderful people. I wish the best for you and your family.

The ultimate decision should really be up to your parents. But here is some advice, your grandmother is passing/has passed away, and that's a very difficult thing. I'm soo sorry that you have to go through something like this. If I were in your shoes, out of respect for my parents and the rest of my family, I would not have the show. I sure that they don't want a group of rowdy kids in their home when a family member so close to heart has passed away. And as for this Jeff character, he should just respect your wishes. Let him know that it is your house, therefore it is you and your family's decision whether or not to have this show

This should be totally up to you. I can't argue with Silvia's comment or anyone elses, but don'nt let other people influence your desicion. If you decide not to have it, Your friends will understand because we love you. You haven't let us down one bit. And If you chose to have the show- I know everyone will respect your house and your family. The choice is up to you Harry. and either way I support you :)

I'm so sorry to hear about your grandma, I understand, as everyone else does, what it feels like to lose someone. Hang in there kiddo, and I'm always here for you to talk to. Not to mention you live in my backyard ;)
