I've been married, for like fifteen minutes. Well, more like three and a half weeks. The whirlwind of the past year is over. There have been so many changes I can't quite wrap my mind around it. And as a dear friend reminded me last night, this is when life begins.

I know you don't mean it this way.... but statements like this are what make married people annoying to us single folk. ;)

Oh... I just mean the idea that life begins when you get married... as if life before marriage is somehow less "real."

That's not at all what I meant, trust me, single life was plenty real for me. I just phrase it the way I did because I've always hated the concept that life ends when you "settle down and get married." I say it more to remind myself that a new chapter begins as another closes and that closing won't equate boredom. Make sense?
