From what I can tell (from the links) neither of those is wireless... and I'm not the biggest fan of buying stuff from Dell, to be honest...

Does your laptop have a built-in wireless card? If not, you'll need something like this... (or this if you only have a desktop...)

This is the wireless router/access point that I would recommend. I've found in my experience that TRENDnet equipment is not only easy to use, but reliable and tough as nails. (Yes, I am a tech support nerd, sue me lol).

I knew I had something else to say...

Don't get me wrong, I like LinkSys products, but buying from Dell is a boo-boo, in my estimation.

The things you were looking at would be fine to connect a bunch of computers, but I think you'd be paying too much and they aren't wireless... if you want a wireless network, you can find stuff like what I linked you to (NewEgg FTW, BTW).

And I'm buying from dell because I am broke and have an account with them I can charge it on for the time being. Plus I have never ever had a problem with my dell or any accessories I have bought from them. I like tell for the most part, just not their wait time on the phone for customer service, but that's most companies now that outsource.

I understand the being broke part LOL

That's cool.

That's not a terrible price for the LinkSys Wireless then. It's not the best, but it's not terrible either.

I say go for it then.
