I had the great honour of being contacted by my alma mater, the Atlantic School of Theology, asking if I would consider representing the school at the convocation of Emmanuel College tomorrow afternoon in the academic procession ( Read more... )

So what did you graduate with from AST? I am just curious, is it required to buy the hood? how much do they cost? what exactly is a hood, is that just well what I would call a sash...when you said hood I had first thought, never mind it was a funny sight, a graduation with many people looking like young darth vader with their hooded robes on, then I realized, no that wouldn't make sense, although would make for a fun graduation. Graduations just end up being such dry and long events...its a relief to get them over with, I am just glad I am slowly going to shorter graduations, high school, around 400-500, stu, 409, hopefully ast, like 40 max...

Nah, I didn't buy my hood, just rented it for the convocation.

And I graduated with my MDiv, AST class of 1988 (I think we're the only class without a photo up somewhere...)
