I'm having a pretty good time in Riverview, NB, visiting with the parents thanks to a canceled retreat over the weekend, which would have been in Tatamagouche. But now, thanks to the physical manipulation of Jesus in my personal history, I get to sleep in my old bed, eat barbecue and play cards with my parents.

I'm also 41 and got myself an awesome eyebrow piercing.

i guess if i can buy sk8r shoes you can peirce your face. you always seem the happiest "back home". i'm glad you're there for your birthday

I think I'm happiest back here because I am able to look back on what I have in Toronto and really appreciate it (including friends). I seem to be able to fully connect with myself when I'm here... but I couldn't live here full time...

I can't wait to see the piercing. I've often thought about getting a piercing again but think back to how much of a pain the nipple rings were. not literally (at least not aften the first couple of days) but taking care of them.

I mean shaving my face more than twice a week is too high maintenance for me!

so I'll be quite happy to live the piercings vicariously and enjoy seeing yours. and HAPPY BIRTHDAY again! we miss you too!
