I ran across some interesting articles by a Mr. Tetsuo Kogawa  regarding ultra simple home-brew FM and video transmitters. After reading some of the English and translating the Japanese articles I was still very curious as to just how well the video transmitters actually worked in the real world. Nope just an old school Hardware Hacker!

About 50 meters with this setup as is... you can add an amp but this design is really based on quick an dirty and it has tons of harmonics that would need to be worked out before sticking any type of amp on it. Not that it really matters now that Analog TV is dead as of last friday. Still FCC tends to frown on lots of harmonics eatting up bandwidth.
