Didn't you play at the 'Nitemare afore Xmas' in 2003? It was in Marco's in Grove Street. The venue is now gone - it was redeveloped into flats.

IIRC we drove up in the snow to play the Heart of Darkness one day thing at a leisure centre somewhere. The girl paying the bills was in a wheelchair maybe? We were frankly terrible as Mr Weeks had all but lost his voice and the stage sound/set was godawful. To cap it all, when I went off to change, the part of the building I was in got locked up for the evening. All I remember is Je$us Loves Amerika we're pretty good. Think we ended up at Fuzzy Dave's place and Shana giving me the keys to her flat so I could go crash as I was going to be driving back down south. Our live 2nd keyboardist was ditched soon after for being a sponging irritating twat. Total time in the band was less than four months and two gigs. Ah, fun days...

Ah, I remember that. You're thinking of Mo in the wheelchair. It was in Marco's in Grove Street. Feb 2003.

Wow, thanks for that! I've always wondered where that was. Didn't know Edinburgh at all back then. TBH that part of town I still don't wander into that much. :)
