Juvenile? Absolutely. But hey, sometimes you just feel like watching a flailing penis monster. (I especially like the way his thoughtful creator attached his arms backwards, presumably in an effort to make it look like the poor bastard was balanced enough to plausibly stand.) A couple of the linked videos at the end of the clip are giggle-

I guess they pre-released the code for the creature creator associated with this upcoming game called Spore. Apparently it's by the same guy who did Sim City, although I kinda doubt he envisioned the game being populated by dancing dicks.

But... you can actually make giant penis monsters in this game? Like... is it for that? Or can you actually do it? Or were these like digitally enhanced videos to poke fun at it?

I think you will be able to actually make (and play as) giant penis monsters in the game. I believe the overall concept is that you start with a very simple life form and shape its evolution into something more complex as the game unfolds.

Perhaps an alternative to WoW, eh?

This has, sadly, nothing to do with penis monsters.

I'm not sure if you remember, because it was ages ago (because, in turn, I write hella-slow), but I promised to tell you when I updated Pacta Sund Servanda (the story I posted on spank_palace last summer). I've reworked the first chapter a little and also posted the second; there're some tiny ficlets, too. Chapter three should be coming along, but I'll be honest and say I've no idea when.

If you have the time, I'd love to hear your opinion!
