I didn't know it was possible to get through puberty without being forced to read Catcher in the Rye! liked Franny and Zooey better.

Strangely, Salinger was never required reading in my school district. I suspect I probably would've liked it better than all the Steinbeck they shoved at us instead.

H.P. Lovecraft sounds like a cool result to me.
