Hi everyone! If you read the last post, you'll know that I'm gonna be your friendly neighborhood mod, now.

As sad as I am to see Mel stepping down, I'm also excited about the prospect of modding blendify__. I think we can really have fun with this community, starting over with a blank slate! Before we jump right into challenges, I need to know how many

I have a suggestion. Could we possibly make the voting anonymous? By like never putting a person's name or username with their blend so that people pick the best blends and do not have a chance to pick by username. It might make things a little more fair, because it seems like the same people win every time. Not saying that they don't diserve it, it just feels like that there may be something else going on. (not meaning that there actually is)

Also, I'd love to see a Shirley Manson, Tori Amos, Vanessa Carlton, Ani DiFranco, and an Aimee Mann challenge. Challenges that are probably rarely done.

i'm always around

just busy at times

so i dont always do the challenges...it'd be cool if some of the blends were a little more abstract than just celebrity faces, for example if a challenge was to make a blend featuring some aspect of fire, and you could even use people or a person,just as long as it was fire-esque?maybe i make no sense....but thats just my opinion.

I'm here (still would be a little wrong, coz I've only entered a couple just before everything stopped). I prefer challenges where we get given images or a site to get images from, I've not got the knack of finding good pictures myself yet (I'm pretty new to this).

I'm here, though I haven't entered so far, and seem to flit in and out of entering into contests on the communities I'm a member of.

I second pling - I ahve problems locating decent images as often as not, and would appreciate pointers to sites (or even suggested images) on any "free choice" style contests.
