A fun month so far.. I'm on a high right now which is good until I start to come down :( Damn manic depression! Haha.
Your videos were awesome and you can always be evolving them in your downtime and until we hit the road again (I think we are supposed to go to SF for some cheese tasting party or something? Haha - you guys are NERDS)
But Notice how hard we all are on ourselves? Me: "I'm nervous for flicker.. what if it sucks? Haha!"
Oh and don't worry, I didn't grab your man's butt.. I don't think.. I did grab Eric's though ;) and possibly David King's I don't know it's all a blur now.. now I think I know how Yolk felt? Haha!

Naw, ERIC grabbed the man's butt.
And that Shawn guy kissed his forehead.
Weirdos. I think I need to defend my territory.
The whole video thing has been a big start over for me. I'm really excited to be doing some again - hopefully I'll beef up the skills and maybe start doing some music vids of my own. That's what I wanted to do in the first place.
So far, most of the footage has been of Jenn. I've mangled most of it, so it isn't just straight video. The stuff I've liked best is the stuff that I rescanned... it just gives it a nice rough quality.
I have to start thinking in terms of graphics, though. I haven't done much in the way of graphics (I've always been more of a photography/video kinda person).
:)
I've been peeking at the pics you've linked to, where your video stuff is in the background. It looks pretty cool! I wanted to see the stuff you did for Glis, but unfortunately they didn't get a chance to set up projection when they played Toronto.
If you like I can send you a DVD of my stuff. Mine is almost all found footage grabbed from movies, documentaries, other random stuff, and a bit of stuff I've shot myself, that I then HEAVILY mangled in Final Cut Pro.
I'm looking for both inspiration and technique to examine. Oddly enough, I never look closely at visuals at shows -- I let them wash over me (that's my personality type - not much for the details, I'm all about the overall experience)
Now that I'm wanting to look closer at them, I can't seem to get myself to a show where they are being used. Bah!

You can do an Ayria video anytime you're comfortable! That would rock of course.
I'll give you details about this weekend as soon as I have them..
