Random update

I like seeing pictures of people and their lives.  But I never post pictures of me, other than my two icons.  I'm just not photogenic.  Nearly every picture I'm in makes me look horrible.  No, it's not a self-esteem issue.  I look in the mirror and think I look fine.  But pictures make me look washed out, fatter than I am, or whatever.  So I reject ( Read more... )

hehe - I think that gets us all at some point... rest assured, if I am ever remotely offended I'll ask you for a description of the look on your face... :D

Where do we get this idea that we have a right to never be offended anyhow??? Freedom of speech and freedom from offense don't coexist very well...

It baffles me.

Yes, I know *you* do. You also think I look good when I just woke up, when I'm sick, when I've been in the hospital for a week and haven't been able to shower... you looke at me slightly differently than the rest of the world does. ;)

I don't post pictures of myself either. I hate having pictures taken and my hubby and daughter are the same way. Our daughter will give in occasionally and have one taken.

I'm glad you are going to get your floor finished, but sorry that you are hurting. I hope you are feeling better soon.

I hope you have been able to get some rest.

1.Everyone is a bit more critical of pics of themselves..I am anyway. I guess Spider is too. :D

2.Yippee for getting your floor finished!!!!!!!!!

3.No! don't put internet in the same category with the phone....you are wonderfully wise :)we neeeeeeeeed you. The problem with the written communication is, like you said, no facial expressions, interpretation of the tone, etc.

4.I have yet to be offended by you and feel left out.... :( lol
