.007 - New Year!

Ohmygosh I think it has finally hit me that I am going to be a fourth year! I mean, sure, I got my letter a few weeks ago detailing all that I need to get but, as we started to gather some of the things this weekend, it finally hit meNot to mention I'll turn 14 in a few months! Shake off the last of the young age and start moving into the full-on

How does it feel to know you're going to be a fourth year? We'll have to have a nice party for your birthday as well! You only turn 14 once of course.

Do you want to see if we can find a compartment to sit together for the train ride? I feel like we haven't spoken in forever!

It feels a little intimidating, though I think turning 13 was even more so because it was "oh my goodness a new phase of everything!" And I can never say no to parties ;)

Most certainly! I'll be sure to bring plenty of delicious treats for us to snack on while we are on the train. It really has been too long--!

It seems each birthday brings something new with it! It's all rather exciting! We'll have to make sure your birthday is extra special. I can already imagine it but I'll keep it a surprise for now.

I'll bring...myself. I don't really have anything to offer that equals your delicious baked goods. Perhaps I'll find some interesting trinket in Diagon Alley next week when I go get the last of my supplies. I'll bring something along anyways.

Fourth year was actually a pretty good year, if I recall (listen to me, I sound so old). Good luck in it!

Oh, I hope so! It's just kind of scary to think that next year I'll be taking O.W.L.s! But then it also makes me sad that this will be your last year! ♥ (unless you plan on sticking around like some of the others ;))

Aw! You'll do fine with OWLs! All you need is charm, luck, and, well, hours of dull, exhausting revision! And as I loathe revision more than anyone else in the history of Hufflepuff House, and did just fine on my exams, I imagine luck and charisma are really the keys anyway. ^_~ I am a remarkably responsible older student, huh? No wonder they didn't make me a prefect...

I don't think I will be staying on another year. Onwards, to adventure, to glory, to not being in the arctic and living all year round in a well regulated system of day and night! I almost went on a very long rant there, but have decided to put it in my journal, instead of loading you down with it. ^_^

Oh! Yes.. the OWLs... Shouldn't be a problem! But a treat while studying would be wonderful! And it would give me a chance to spend time with you without looking like I'm slacking.
