Phyre got bored at the beach and begged Chris to let her orb back to his room. After making promise after promise about what she wouldn't do, he finally let her.

Of course, none of those promises involved not using his cell phone to call people.

Wyatt had changed the ringtone on his phone for Chris to his perfomance at Caritas, so he knew without looking who was calling. Or so he thought. "What's up, Starina?" he said as he answered the phone.

She hoped it wasn't ANOTHER little girl she would have to share her Papa with.

"That's just my nickname for your dad," Wyatt snickered, unfazed by the "Uncle Wyatt" because he knew what date it was. "Who's this?"

Isabel had been half dozing, half listening to one side of the phone calls.

During a lull in the calls, she opened one eye and peered at Wyatt. "Do I want to know who's calling and how they're related? Or is it going to break my brain?"
