Nowadays people are so much more artificial than they used to be. Partly, this can be blamed on the ability to reach so far out. People have so many people to meet that they lookk for the easy ways out. Labels. the want to be able to take one look at you and fit you into a preconceived slot, thereby "knowing" you really quickly. We really need to take more time and get to really know others.

I will watch myself carefully. Umm. Does girl count? "shred" doesn't sound like anything I really have planned for the day.

Been there, chica.
I hate trends, and fads, and most of what's considered "in-style." I dislike most of the clothing in those giant, popular brandname stores. I just wear what I like, what makes me feel good, and unique, and to Hell with everyone else.

But people have this INSANE need to put a title on EVERYTHING. I once had someone tell me I was "goth" because I was wearing black eyeliner.

I mean, COME THE FUCK ON. You can't wear EYELINER without being labeled?!

i also don't think you should wear somebody else's style. i mean subcultures are bullshit.
i noe, i have an average 'arty look' and it isn't that original, but in a way it is.

I know what you mean, I hate labels too. For some reason people feel the need to label others to (probably) make themselves feel better.
