why do guys like to take it upon themselves whether they think they're good enough for you or not? a couple of months ago i was dating this one guy, and everything was going great. he was the type of guy that i could see myself with, someone who didn't mind my music nerdiness, in fact who actually supported it, and we had a great time tother. but ( Read more... )

maybe the reason guys let you go and say that they're not good enough is because they're initimidated by you? which, in that case, means yea you should probably wait around for someone who's not! just a thought.

also, who cares if an emo kid was offended! that's what they feed off of anyway. they need it. :-P

Sorry to hear about your dating woes. I can definitely see why a guy would think he's not good enough for you: you are smart, beautiful, and ambitious.

Do you really expect a guy to say, "I feel that I am out of your league. What are you thoughts on this matter?" It's kind of embarrassing for a guy. Instead, guys think, "Wow, this is too good to last. I won't wait until she finds someone better and dumps me; instead, I'll politely end it now on a good note."

(I know that this excuse works really well to truly dump someone, but I don't think that's what happened with you.)

The whole getting dumped thing is a whole steaming pile to begin with.

I agree with Philip, I can see how a guy would be intimidated by you. You're gorgeous, sweet, and smart. Sadly, some guys like their girls bitchy and stupid. If that's the case then good riddance.
