-He'd definitely find her. On the side of the road, hands clinging to her sides. Her wings and tail were there, but no presence of any of the systems could be felt. She looked completely shaken, her eyes wide and full of terror...-

Ah! [Sin's eyes go wide when he spots her, rushing forward. Something wasn't right, though.. She looked injured. She shouldn't have been hurt that badly if she had her powers.]

[Crouching by her, he's completely ignored any injuries of his own, a hand resting on her shoulder carefully- his face is full of worry.]

Mother, you're hurt... But how can...?

You can't use your power at all...? [Biting his lip, he glances around them- everything leveled here, too.]

...Well, it's okay! We'll just have to find somewhere safe for now, to tend to your injuries.

Sin! We have to run! -There was no way they could fight. She was pretty much dead weight without her systems.-

But--!

[Sin pauses to dodge a shotgun blast from one of the ghouls that was rushing to join the hatchet-wielding ones he was fighting.] But if we run, they'll just come after us!

[They'd spent a while looking for shelter, but they hadn't been able to find any safehouse yet; and without any way to communicate with others, and being attacked everywhere they went, it seemed only a stroke of luck like they'd had during the zombie attack would be able to save them.]

There must be a shelter that will take us in! There must be!

We've looked everywhere, though!

[Backing away from the horde and towards Dizzy, Sin's breathing is labored. His injuries were getting worse, his movements sluggish- he was sure he wouldn't hold out much longer.]

...You should run.

[ He is not alone in trying to salvage a good weapon or clue on this fine apocalyptic day. The household not-Dad is doing some digging through the debris himself, and acknowledges Sin with a nod. ]

Good work on not dying, I guess.

[Whipping around to spot his fellow live housemate, Sin is decidedly more highstrung about the whole situation. ...As usual.]

What the hell happened here!? [He kicks over a large chunk of wooden paneling blocking his path.] One day I'm stuffing my face-- [And man did that drone mom cook a good meal, seriously]-- And now the whole place is leveled!?

Kid, you need to calm yo tits and remember that panicking just makes it look worse. And I mean we're basically looking at a good ol' fashioned apocalypse here, so you wanna do your part to keep that as non-blown out of proportion as you can.

Can't say much for specifics yet, though.

I'm not panicking!

[He's panicking.]

Apocalypse? You don't mean...... Like, a 'Merciless Apocalypse'? [Not that he'd had any idea what the hell that meant, but he'd heard the old man and the bird talking about it back then, and he knew it had to do with that weird Valentine chick, and that it was bad. Really bad.]

[But somehow this didn't seem quite right. Mostly due to the lack of creepy wrench-and-balloon-wielding chicks.]

Why the hell is this place always blowing up, anyway? [He coughs a little, waving dust away as he flings another few pieces of wreckage out of his way. He wasn't feeling so hot...]
