Heh...they're teenagers, melodrama is just a natural part of their life ;-) Except those two are the least melodramatic I can think of...which is why the balance you struck worked for me!

I live in the Pacific NW...there are people here who wear shorts and t-shirts when it reaches 50 degrees out, so winter uniforms without coats for teenage boys sounds quite believable.

Momo's ankle. Hm...maybe he was off it for a week meaning completely off and then was on light usage? Or it was more of a strain, which some call a sprain 'cause people understand sprains easier than strains! :-) I think Konomi-sensei uses the time honored writer's tool known as Handwavium every so once in a while ;-)

...and considering what we've seen Ryuzaki wearing when she's not in her jogging outfit...I think the school insisted she wear it ;-) Or maybe she only changes out of it for classes because it is so comfy?

Glad the balance worked for you! I was happy with how it turned out, too.

I live in the South. It has been well over 50 degrees here for a few weeks, which is why I had so much trouble remembering that the characters should be a lot colder in February in Tokyo than it was outside my window.

I just smile and nod whenever there's a tennis injury in PoT/SPoT because no one ever needs as long as they should to recover from an injury/illness.

Good point about Ryuzaki. The jogging suit might be the best alternative.

Thanks for your comments!

Handwavium is an important asset in any writer's tool box :-) I wonder how long Atobe's ankle will take to heal in SPoT (I always think of Shinji when I see that!)

I love commenting...hard part is knowing when to stop... *grin*
