When did he start to read mystery things?

Shotaro likes brain teasers, so he loves to read mysteries and want to try to solve them before the protagonists? He only got to around to reading mystery manga when he was in third grade, and borrowed his friend's copy of Kindaichi Case file on a field trip. Desperate Housewives...was a fluke. He got bored and randomly decided to watch it with his mom, and liked it (though he probably never admitted it and probably went "HEY MOM YOU LIKE IT SO WHY DON'T YOU BUY A COPY TO KEEP AT THE HOUSE? >///>" or something along those lines).

What would he do if he ever had the possibility of write one of Conan's chapters?

He'll wait until he has a real epic case in his real life then write the script based on it...putting himself as a self-insert who solves the case with Conan, of course.

Tsundere Shotaro will never admit this to anyone, but Delaine's now probably the closest thing he has to a BFF who's also a sort-of rival at the same time. They challenge each other in terms of brain/wit, they seem to have a really good partnership whenever they do work together, and because they share many similarities (eg; their obsession with 'kiddy' stuff despite trying to act 'cool'), Shota could relate to Deli a lot. Also because Shota's more on the 'justice' side even if he may use questionable methods sometimes there are some 'criminal' stuff that Delaine does that Shota goes =_= at and makes him try to be his voice of conscience…sometimes

He was definitely shocked and he didn't like that he was 'wrong' about wanting to 'rescue Wednesday' even if it was the Shadow's call screwing his mind up that time...not to mention that he missed out a lot during that period of time he was apathy syndrome'd. He also found the rehab afterwards troublesome.
