This answer was obvious because A) I severely disliked Doc Scrach and B) Bec Noir was actually pretty interesting.
The whole "still loyal to Jade" thing was a really nice touch; I didn't expect that to actually be a thing later. And even though he's a total Jackass (HAHA, I had to type that twice because I didn't get the joke until...yeah, anyway), he has interesting and "human" (or whatever) motivations. Also, Bec's wonder powers just make everything cooler. Scratch is just a dick.
Oh! Also, also. He's evokes more emotions from me, being an emotional being rather than a cueball person. Seriously, a ferocious dog or a cue ball? Which would you go running from first if you saw them approaching you on a sidewalk? Or a forest? Or anywhere, really? Point made, probably.
