I looked at when my last post had been: 29 July. Yowza.

A couple of folks have asked me why I haven't been on LJ and my first response has been to say "eh, nothing ever happens to write about." That's not really true though, lots of stuff goes on (nothing exciting, mind you), but I guess I just haven't felt much like writing it down.  I'm still not ( Read more... )

Since I am a person who loves Colorado, I am curious about some of the reasons you don't like it. I won't defend it, it's more curiosity than anything. And to be honest, I don't know if I could live in Colorado Springs.

Nice to see you! I was thinking about you the other day... mostly because we have a lot of new transplants from Denver who never stop talking about how great it is, and I really wanted to talk to someone else with some gripes about it. :-)

But then I remembered that you were heading to Europe around the holidays and started looking forward to pictures and stories.

And THEN I remembered about Christkindlmarket Chicago, and wondered if you'd be interested in offering insights regarding it's authenticity.

And then, I logged into WoW and forgot everything for a few hours.

Ack! Now I want to come to Chicago in December! *lol*

For the US, it looks pretty darn good! I went to the market's webpage and the booths and products look pretty similiar. The big tree is a nice touch - American-looking - but a lot of markets have giant trees. I think you need to go! *laugh* (And take a lot of photos!)

I still don't get the Denver thing. Maybe I'm missing the boat and Denver is just THAT much better than where I am. But I'd be hard-pressed to believe that. *laugh* When they start going on and annoying you - just tell them you're done hearing about the mile high cess pool. *wink*
