I've noticed it's been on the best-seller lists for a while. What's it about?

sorry for the waay late response...I'm just catching up on my internet Now.

Freakonomics doesn't really have a unifying theme, it's mostly just a collection of really interesting essays on various different social issues, and quarky little anticdotes.

You just helped me avoid being attacked and possibly stabbed in a dream!
I 'woke up' and tried to turn on the lightswitch but it wasn't working, so I opened the front door to turn the hall light on out there, but there was some guy standing outside my door and he shoved his way inside before I could lock the door again. He was pushing me towards the kitchen, and that scared me enough to 'wake up' again. The lightswitch still wasn't working, and I realized at this point that I was still asleep. I was about to open the door again, but didn't want that man to come in. There was a chef's knife on the coffee table but I didn't want to run the risk of it being used against me. I closed my eyes and conjured up an image of you and you popped up on the couch beside me. We spoke a few words, and I woke up.

Hooray for long winded explanations!
