I'd been wanting to ask, for a while now, about how everyone's experience with the whole chip removal business. The people involved with the process too. I know that strange things have happened because of chip removals but I'd like to hear some more stories on the topic, if possible ( Read more... )

I blew up a generator!

... Horton's apparently the safest, but Latimir's the nicest.

You blew up a generator, Sora?

Why is Latimir nicest? I'd like to hear some more details. And maybe, where you live too?

It was an accident. But, yes.

Well, it used to be the only buildin' with electricity and runnin' water, so it's the nicest. I live there.

It had to do with your lightning abilities, right?

The running water is a perk. You being around sounds like a good thing too.

I didn't have anything really strange happen. A little lack of control but nothing like people seem to have now.

I think Horton is meant to be the safest.

That's good to hear. What powers did you have to deal with?

You're the second one to say that, Kamui.

Mainly it was making things move. I think anyway. It's been a while since I got it out.

Am I? ...I can only really speak about Horton and Latimir so, for all I know, Marshall might be safest I guess.

I don't think I've heard of a rune that does that, but I can imagine how it could have gotten out of control.

I'll have to wait for someone to speak for Marshall then!

I'm sorry. You don't have to answer, Tir.

No, it's.... it's alright.

I know what happened to me won't happen to you. Or at least...

Just remember, Jowy... The sword and the shield are naturally drawn to conflict.

Riou believes in me, I have to have the same faith he put in me. It's no better running away like this.

The first couple of days you can expect to be sick. After that, it's regaining control.

If you're looking to get your chip removed, you may want to ask around the hospital. Several of the doctors there know how to remove them.

Sora recommended a Kureha to take out the chips. I know Riou had his taken out by an Eirin.

Is there a chance you can fail at regaining control?

It should be like riding a bike. Unless you didn't have control before you were brought here. That is the only way I see one loosing control.

Oh? Do you know of any other chip doctors?

I like to think I had decent control, at least.

Those two are the only ones I know of from friends. I don't know if I should just be requesting chip removals from anyone.

My rune was a bit out of control, but, nothing bad really comes from that. Well, at least not that time.

Do you think something will happen if I have my chip removed, Riou?

I... I don't know. You think someone will happen between the runes?

I'm not sure. I guess we'll find out?
