Sorry about the lack of updates. I've been away from the www for the last two weeks and just came back a couple of days ago. Coming within the week, new icons as well as the 2nd part of the requests (apologies for the delay once more - I'm almost done!!). Until then, here's a little tutorial

still have problems with colours.
I recommend you play around with the curve tool, and then venture into color balance. herdestiny posted an excellent tut on curves not so long ago, right here.

The dotted line is not a brush. It is "hand-made". Just with the pencil tool. As I wanted a thick line, the setting is on 3 as you can see in the vid, but if you want thinner 1 is perfectly fine. You may have to duplicated the layer though, as with a 1px pencil the line is often too faded.
Now if you absolutely want a dashed brush, I know for a fact elli has one in one of her brush sets. However, the brush is huge and made to be used in larger works than icons. You can still go check out her site. It's linked in her user info.
