a word of advice: you will never ever like what you write. not as you write it, not after you finish, not a week later, not a month later. it will always suck to you.

i've won poetry contests, and like 5 different bands are begging me to front them because of my lyrics, but to me it seems like everyone is just being ignorant to the fact that what i write is pitiful.

please don't throw away what you don't like, and as embarrassing and humiliating you find it, share with others. when people genuinely like your art, even if you do find it to be utter crap, feels so good inside.
