Leaving Tomorrow
Hmm, This is prbably my last entry for about three weeks coz I'm going off on holiday. Anyhoo, I've packed my bags, done all I can and I'm kind of nervous. Hope nothing goes awry, Actually it'll be pretty fun, woot, it's gonna be exciting. So Bon voyage! little journal! I'll see you in a couple of weeks ;)

I wanted to ask. I know you said you learned how to make pretty good collages (which is an understatement -- your collages rock) from tutorials. I wanted to ask if you could point me in the direction of some good tutorials. So I could get some hands on experience. Thanks!

I'm finally back from my holiday. Woah, it was brilliant. Anyhoo, I work with Adobe Photoshop Elements and that program offers tutorials in the help menu so that's where I learnt the basics. I also looked on Adobe's homepage and searched around there and you can find tutorials, just remember that these tutorials are only for Abode programs. Another useful tip is to search on the web for "blending" and tons of websites from artists will pop up about competitions, their work, etc. If you look at the right places and dig deep enough, these sites are also a really great help, unfortunately I can't remember any of the sites, but if I do I'll let you know.
I'd say the best way to learn is start experimenting, join an art group and give your work up for critism so they can help you out. I joined a forum called Creative, but sadly I think that forum crashed, it was very helpful though. Maybe they're back up and running.
