1: move out. (or say you did :D )
2: Turn 24.
Apparently, even if you have moved out, until you are 24, the government expects your parents to help pay for things. I just escaped that crap this year, which is why I was able to get a scholarship/student loans.
I'm sorry things aren't going well for you in areas. Is there anything I can do to help?
BTW, in a couple weeks, I'm going to start up my game. Hopefully will run on tuesday nights, alternating with Joe, and I'd like to start around 8 or 9. Would you be available?

Like Jon said, you're really stuck with the parentals on the FAFSA for some time. However, even if you move out, you still have to claim your parents, as I found out this year. I was stuck between my mother and her husband, who together made a considerable amount, and own the house, or my Dad, who made about the same amount as the former options put together, and all of it untaxed. So yea, invent a time machine, and make yourself 24. And then let me borrow it.
I completely agree with you about the whole FAFSA deadline not meshing well with getting your W2s.

Anyway, if no one's told you I should be back in town for about 5 days around my birthday next month. So hopefully I'll get to see Everyone while I'm back.
