Does anyone understand why Puerto Rico participates and votes in our Presidential Primaries? Did they add it to the 50 States alphabet song as well?

they are a commonwealth, not their own country, and we pretty much own their asses. (all puerto rican are actually US citizens, unlike Cubans or Mexicans) however, they dont have presidential electoral privledges, as in they wont get to vote for prez in november, so perhaps a primary is bigUS letting them have a say.
