If you're not too afraid to come to Dawson, Carol is always telling me that anytime you need a computer or something, to come to the office. It's September, so there are always free exams (no midterms or exams) and actually, especially now there aren't many students needing to do work. So how does that sound? I would call Paul first thing in the morning. You did all you could (regular anti-virus checks) so he wouldnt bite your head off -- He'd only get angry if you postpone mentioning it. And let me know how the Center sounds :-)

Are you free this weekend at some point (Saturday)? I'd say "bring your sick puppy here" and I'll see if there's anything I can do without your having to send it off to oblivion. I can't do much outside of here if ZT isn't going to behave, but maybe there's some stupid explanation for it all...

(and no, I'm not worried about cross-infection of my own stuff, I can prevent that. :)

Something you might look at in the long run, though my initial testing suggests that it's a bit of a stretch from ZoomText: there is an 'iZoom2Go' program (put out by a company in Ontario) which can be loaded onto a USB memory key and used on any Windows XP computer you go to, without the need to install any drivers or such. The iZoom2Go propgram isn't freeware, though you can download a 'free' version (or a 30 day demo version) of the standard edition. Something like this could be useful over the long haul if you need access in a hurry?

And Carol just told me you're free to use the computers at anytime -- She said especially since you never take advantage of the privilage, you're particularly welcome :)
