Fan art: PSC dump~

I went through my art folders//paper piles//sketchpads yesterday and scanned or photographed everything I haven't yet shared. I'm not posting all of those, since the number of doodled pages and half-finished pieces is crushing, but I wanted to show some of them. This time, my theme is PS Company, which naturally means that I'm sharing works inspired by the wonderful bands of the said record label.
I'm uploading these to Imageshack, and as we know, sometimes it gets quite bitchy. Let me know if some of the links don't work and I'll fix them asap.

PICTURE#1: DEFLATION [Tora] PICTURE#2: VANITY [Tora]

.Deflation is one of my angsty pieces. (No shit, sherlock.)I think it speaks for itself quite well. The eyes have a nice, languishingly numb look in them. Probably "the artist's choice" of the whole batch^^ Actually, I've been thinking about framing it.
.More Tora. Without a second glance Vanity looks almost sweet, but hopefully you'll see a little more than that. I wanted to capture Tora's Mr Laid Back Prince look there, I don't know whether I succeeded or not. I wanted this to be more portrait-like than the first one, and that's why I hope it's effortless for you to recognize the beautiful guitarist~<3

.May.. the process behind the piece is quite interesting. Usually, when I start painting/drawing, I don't have a clear visual on what I'm going to make.. I have some loose words and feelings floating which I want to channel onto the paper. May was different. I laid on my back in my bedroom and I felt.. quite frustrated. Then, to relieve stress, I picked my brushes -I just wanted to splash color onto the paper- but I couldn't do a thing. The paper was too white, too shiny. I felt very repulsive about ruining the oblivious surface. So, instead of being impulsive, I spent the next hour and a half to sketch something that'd be worth the paper. Finally I decided to go for Kagrra,. The piece is inspired by their fantastic song Satsuki.
.May is by far the most simplistic picture I've done. Oh, yes, there're small writing on it and dropples of waterecolor, but what I mean is that I didn't focus on the faces as much as I usually do. I kept the amount of pencil to its minimum. Naoran suffered because of this, since it's almost impossible to create such light and soft features as his by using only ink. Plus, the gap between his eyes is a little too wide.
.Izumi<3 So pretty<3 I favour Isshi, too. His eyes reflect the song so well.
.Utakata was made after listening to -surprise surprise- their Utakata single for the first time. The style here is very comic-like. I'm fascinated by lines and shadows, and I'm esp trying to improve in using them.

.Hole was made after a friend of my sister saw my previous Uruha arts and she asked me if I could make something Kai-related (she's a real Kai-o-holic^^). I guess she would've preferred something more light-hearted and cheerful, but I've always been fascinated by this specific photoshoot. I love Kai's lips^__^ It's a pleasure to draw something that plushy and full.
.There's no story behind Rawkstar. I just wanted to ink something. It took only around 20 minutes to make this. It's from my doodling book, and so are the three following scans too~

.*teehee* You see the pissed Aoi-san there? I was going to draw a broken guitar and Reita sneaking away too, but I never got that far^__~
