Wallpapers: misc jrock

Yesterday, I went through the texture communities&journals I keep an eye on and found loads of highly inspiring material to work with. So, six wallies were born instantly, and today I made two more to total the sum of eight. And, for the first time, I tried making something as big as 1280x800\o/ it was difficult; my congrats to all those graphic

omg those wallpapers are so YOU.♥ I especially like the Kagrra, one-- it's simple but gives a sort of reminiscent atmosphere. I think you captured an essence of Kagrra, that I predominantly feel whenever I listen to their music. :D

that's what I want to do with my graphics -really capture something essential of the theme or the subject. The Kagrra, wallpaper came out very effortlessly while listening to Core ♥ it's one of the frigging best albums ever produced, filled with... well, the core of every little thing beautiful^^b

(totally offtopic: I saw that Shin had changed his name Sin in the OHP profile? You, my senpai of jrock trivia, happen to know something of this?)

I finally listened to Core. :) Irodori no Sanka is beautiful and wistful (I think: butterfly XD), especially when you watch the PV, but somehow I still prefer Shizuku--the PV is simpler, but its simplicity seems to enhance the bittersweet sadness of the song nicely. Or maybe I just like sad songs, haha XDDD

Er, I think Shin's name change is just PSC's way of trying to English-ify it? XD I mean, in Kra's new OHP, instead of using two U's like they used to, Keiyuu and Yuura have now become Keiyuh and Yuhra (which I think makes them sound very different). If I worked in PSC, I could probably tell you, hehe. (But then again, if I worked in PSC, I'd probably be busy spazzing out and flailing in front of the Jrock Pretty XDDDD)

\o/ I'm very excited that my skills in making wallies are improving and fast. I feel making larger graphics is actually easier than icons since with icons every little mistake is seen so clearly. With wallies I can compensate one thing with another... me luvs it~

Hmm. I was looking for some hi-res scans/pictures of Josh but could find only few. You know where I could find some? :( (the evil queen of Grobania surely knows everything about her country? *lol*) me wants to wallie-fy JOSH ♥

How long has it been since I last have stepped across your works, I wonder... Really, these ones are definite examples of your style which you steadily develop. My favourites are the first one which is an essence of Kagrra, as were mentioned before. And also the last one - it's chemical but airy and really interesting. Though I still think you need vary your text usage - if you don't mind a single bit of criticism, really sorry about that if you do ~_^ - but in general I would describe these as doubtless success of BCL style.
