hey girl-- tried to send you a message, it wouldn't let me ('blinddogs has enabled privacy options') yes, i can send it to the other address (post office just opened & i'm still in bed, i'm getting up in about 20 minutes) but is it going to the same name? i think i can send it to the address w/o a name, but i'll double check. it just means that it might not get sent until tomorrow, if the post office requires a name on packages. xx

I hope you don't mind me commenting but I saw your comment in blackcigarette where you were angry at someone who said they wanted to be another race. Can I just ask why? I don't mean to annoy you at all I just don't understand the topic really as to me it just sounded like a compliment to other races rather than an insult.

I'm just going to copy and paste what I wrote there.

By being white and going around professing that you wish to be a person of color, you present yourself as totally ignorant of the racism and stereotyping that many (if not most) people of color experience. Assuming that your wishes to be a person of color are based in aesthetic, you're exotifying these people and saying that fitting in to what you find aesthetically pleasing is worth going through these things.
