Election Blues

Well...not much to say. What's done is done...for now. I do have to admit that I got a little thrill right after I voted for my NDP candidate, Melanee Thomas in Lethbridge. I don't like Jim Harris because he's all into big business and the market economy/capitalism stuff. He's not a true Green. Maybe if the Greens get a new leader I would consider voting for them next time.

Yeah, Conservative Rick Casson won our riding with like 35 000 votes, and Melanee came in second with close to 8000. She beat out the Liberal candidate pretty easily. She gained a lot of support this election, but of course, we're in Lethbridge and no body can beat the all mighty Rick Casson. I really do think she will move up in the future and really go somewhere. Who won in your riding? Did Christie end of voting?

Could you elaborate a bit? I'm not familiar with comments made by Harris himself, only the general platform of the party.

Bill Siksay, an NDP, won my riding. Christie hasn't lived here long enough to vote; whether or not she would have been able to vote in Calgary is another matter, but I suspect that technically she could have.
