haha! Well, my mum didn't much like the idea either. But she couldn't make the excuse to me that it would be bad for my eyes. I was one of those kids who could pick a videogame up and put it down whenever I was told to. I loved playing outside more than anything.
Oh definetly, I also loved watching other people play videogames. Was almost as good as a movie! Well, whenever the players managed to stay alive and complete a storyline, that is.
Oh yeah, MK2 was great. I miss that old arcade machine! If I ever struck it rich, I'd find an arcade version and if I had a game room, that's where it'd go!
Did you have some sight younger? I had way more then, but playing games were difficult for me. I had TMNT too ... We didn't collct many games like a lot of people did. The sound effects and music always attracted my attention.
Nope, I've never had sight. I was born completely 100 percent blind. I just sort of... taught myself how to play games like that. My mum would read me the game guides and I'd braille them out. These days, the Internet's a great place to look up walkthroughs and all that.

My mom wouldn't let me have any video game stuff, I had to play at friend's houses - or more usually watch them play. Meh.
