25 random things about me
I've seen this done on facebook and LJ, so I decided to do it. I'm not going to tag anyone, but you can do it if you want to. Depends on how much time you have. I hate thinking up random stuff about myself because for some reason, it takes so long. Lucky for me, I already did it last night and I'm just rewriting it this afternoon.
1. I chipped one of my front teeth a total of 6 times when I was a kid. The very same one! haha!
2. I like my hamburgers with absolutely nothing on them but the meat and the bread.
3. I had to start learning braille when I was 3 and a half or 4.
4. I wanted to start an Orphanage when I was a kid because I felt bad for that girl in that Rescuers movie by Disney.
5. I can tell you what I've done every Christmas in terms of holiday celebration and the gifts I've given and received. This goes all the way back to when I was 4 or so, to present day. I have a pretty good memory which is both a blessing and a curse. hehe!
6. I'm a lover of both dogs and cats. I prefer neither one above the other.
7. I can count on one hand the number of blind folks I've met in person.
8. I enjoy grilling and cooking things, but you probably knew that already.
You know, 8's all I can remember right now. haha! I'll have to go check facebook later to get some more. Ok, I remembered another one. I've never kissed a girl, or been kissed. I mean, I did ask my Senior prom date if I could kiss her on the cheek, but that was it. I take that stuff rather seriously. I'm not one of those people who tend to flirt with everyone either. I'm sure I will once I find Miss Right. Take that to the bank.
Well, looks like I'll be cooking a bit later than expected. But that doesn't really bother me. I'm just happy to get in some more practice time on the grill. I had chicken for the past two days anyway.
I downloaded Duma Key by King to my computer today from audible. Got my credit for a free book yesterday and forgot all about it. They've got all four novelas from Different Seasons there now, so I'm getting that next month. They didn't sell them all together when they released them on cassette years ago, so they're not doing it on audible either. Two of the four novelas cost $9 a piece, while the other two which are longer go for about $14 a piece. So I'll use a credit next month to get Apt Pupil, probably. Then I'll only have to pay about $32 for the other three. Not bad at all. Then in March, book on in the Fate of the Jedi series is due out, so I'll download that as soon as audible gets it. I'm not going to listen to that one right away. Will probably wait til the first 5 or so books are out. I might be crazy and wait til all 9 are on my computer before I begin listening. It's more than a year away, but I think I can manage. I'm just glad I get to read all of this series in its entirety!
Anyway, I'm gonna read some more of Insomnia this evening while grilling. Wonderful things, laptops. Wouldn't you agree?
