Yes the water makes a big difference to the taste of the coffee. There are a lot of variables when making coffee.

The Shining always makes me hungry for grilled cheese and tomato soup. LOL

And

WHAT no tater tot casserole???? You big tease! Actually this time of year you need slightly more fat and calories to keep your body temp up and your skin from getting too dry so an extra burger here or there won't hurt too much. If you do gain a pound or two you can always cut back again. At least that was what I was told about the 'rash' I have now...not eating enough fats. I am supposed to eat more oily fishes.

I'm glad someone else agrees with me about the water and so many variables when making coffee! haha!
I didn't know about eating a little extra. All the more reason for me to make that casserole some time this week! Oh yeah, I really enjoy a grilled cheese when I get off my butt and make one. I haven't tried tomato soup before though. I need to do that some time.

My ex was a coffee fiend...I kept his 8 oclock beans in the fridge to keep them fresh, took out what I needed to make a pot let them sit until they reached room temp, ground them and made the coffee with well water. The result was then stored in a preheated thermos bottle so it stayed hot longer. Oddly, I don't actually drink coffee.

I always just made Campbell's tomato soup but they season it differently over here so I might need to make my own one day...it should be pretty easy there's not much to it but tomatoes afterall.

Yes! I absolutely love meatloaf! I think you must have read my mind because I'm actually planning on making it this week! I bet your mum's meatloaf is wonderful. I've never met a mum who couldn't make a terrific meatloaf.

I always loved the old guy with the shining in the books... and in the movie (the second movie was my favorite, just because it contained more actual supernatural effects and showed the old man a little more.)

You're talking about the cook, right? I've not seen the second movie, so I better try that one out. Hell, I haven't seen the first one either. That's sad since everyone seems to enjoy it so much.

Yeah, the cook.
I didn't really care for the first one, I just couldn't take it seriously after seeing the second. I have always found Jack more campy then scary.
