haha! Oh, I was kidding about that. The number 19 is prevalent in Stephen King's Dark Tower series. Some of the characters have to journey to our world and actually save him from a fatal accident involving a van on June 19th, 1999. I was just seeing who all would get the reference. lol!
hahaha! Yeah, I thought about that when I was writing. Oh, no indeed, you didn't ruin the reference by any means. I doubt more than about 5 or 6 people getting that reference anyway since several people who read King's books never have read the Dark Tower cycle. But I think most of my friends from the SK community on LJ have.
19 always gives me a little thrill when I find it in another King story. The only numbers I ever actively worry about are the ones on my bank statement.
Did you catch what was on Lisey's license plate? Those numbers added up to be 19, then the RD afterwards which I'm betting was supposed to stand for Roland Deshain.
I don't remember seeing that one. Good catch! I think there was at least one in Duma Key too. I think King has started putting them in as fan service or something.
Yeah, I think the one in Duma Key was Edgar's daughter's e-mail address. efree_19 or something. Been a while since I read that one, but wikipedia lists all the references after the plot synopsis for each of his books.

If you were really afraid of that number, it's a shame that you'd be afraid of my current age then. LOLZ!
