Hey,
You've never heard of Scrooge McDuck? He's from this Disney animated series called DuckTales? He's from Scotland, by his accent. I think that's the coolest thing about him, his accent. Anyway, he was Donald Duck's uncle in that continuity. People who are big Disney fans today say that he died recently and hid all his money or something! I think it's a running gag though. I'd be sad if they ever killed off Scrooge McDuck! haha!

Scrooge McDuck is Scottish. Way back when he was invented they made him Scottish and named him Scrooge because he was supposed to be a penny-pincher and the stereotype of the Scottish was that they were excessively thrifty. Mr Ebenezer Scrooge also held his purse strings rather tightly.

I believe Scrooge McDuck is the great-uncle of Huey, Dewey and Louey; possibly Donald's mother's brother? I have no idea where everyone's mother is though...Huey Dewey and Louey don't appear to have one and I don't think we ever see Uncle Donald's mother either.

I seem to recall watching the episode where Uncle Scrooge is presumed dead and all of his money is missing a good while back on Disney Channel. It may have been a long format or even movie-length cartoon though I am not sure. The only thing I definately recall is the Beagle Boys being very dissapointed.

I can't remember the movie though it sounds familiar and I can see the little old lady when I think of it. I'm pretty sure she inspires a main character to get a cart of their own and try doing smash and grabs with it and there is a slow speed chase maybe or am I mixing the slow speed chase from Seinfeld up with the movie? (The episode where George gets a cart and at some point the other cart users see him get off his cart to do something he shouldn't be able to and they all chase him in his cart with their carts)

That sounds like a great episode! The movie was Dumb and Dumber. I gotta check Seinfeld out though. I've seen a few eps and liked them.

Obviously I have three different shows mixed up. That type of incident might have also happened in a Jay and Silent Bob film though which one I'm not sure.

I suspect it is either in The Simpsons or Family Guy that there is a smash and grab attempt with a cart.

I forget what inspires George to get a cart in the Seinfeld episode...I am pretty sure it is in one of the later seasons, the slow speed chase is hilarious. Most of the Seinfeld episodes were either hilarious or cringe-worthy. I enjoyed most of them.
