Name: Sasuke Uchiha
Age: 14
Gender: male
Fandom: Naruto (anime)
Timeline: episode 135
History: here, or for something more specific, his own wiki page.

Character Personality:

Sasuke Uchiha, once upon a time, was a loving and playful child. It was when his older brother, Itachi, murdered his entire clan in cold blood that he became fixed on revenge and power. Having lost not only his family, but his whole clan in one fell swoop, Sasuke was plunged into a life of loneliness and despair, feelings he has never been able to shake. In truth, his only driving force became the words his older brother had imparted on him: to cling to life and live filled with hatred, to become as powerful as Itachi himself so he might someday kill him. This became, and has remained, the focal point of everything Sasuke stands for. In his own words, his purpose in life is to be nothing more than an avenger.

As the only survivor of the well known Uchiha clan, and a naturally talented ninja at that, Sasuke was raised by the village with both awe and fear. Despite how detached and rude he became, he was still incredibly popular, especially with girls his age, but Sasuke never showed any interest in relationships or that infamy. He preferred to stay alone, segregated from the rest of the village, likely both from his own antisocial behaviour and the stigma of his clan the rest of the village held. Everybody knew what had happened, and if Sasuke had nothing left, then he had his pride.

Sasuke developed exceptional fighting skills, and as he was the best at everything in his grade, his arrogance and pride only grew. In battle, Sasuke constantly thinks on his feet, going into the fight with a strategy and adapting it as the encounter continues. Should he have a handicap, he will find a way around it (such as relying on a copied taijutsu move instead of his chakra when he couldn't use it at one point), and none of his strategies are generally executed without some sort of consideration of his opponent and the environment around him. It's this intelligence and perceptiveness that has him called a genius level ninja, and Sasuke knows it, too.

When he was forced into Team Kakashi and to partner up with Naruto and Sakura, he didn't become any less of a jerk. In the beginning he viewed both of them as a burden, and told them such, wanting to continue on his solitary quest. Gradually, like pulling teeth, he learned to trust his teammates and to work in tandem with them. He established a rivalry with Naruto, one that flared up when Naruto started working harder and started catching up to him. Sasuke's pride would have none of that, and though they were constantly throwing insults at each other, privately Sasuke came to see that dork as one of, if not his most important, friends. His ambition to kill Itachi, while not forgotten, was no longer his only focus. He had developed other bonds, ones that were important to him, ones that would have him putting his life on the line to protect them.

During the Chunin exams, this all changed again. Orochimaru set his sights on the last Uchiha, and branded him with the Cursed Seal of Heaven. While he may have become more patient in his endless training, comfortable with the hard work of the Konoha, that taste of power was enough of a poison for that unrelenting thirst to return. Sasuke realized that he wasn't growing fast enough, measuring himself against Naruto and against Itachi when he came across his brother again. His impatience slowly began to get the better of him, grating at him like a splinter in the back of his mind. He felt that he had become sedate and lazy, even though this wasn't the case. In order to become more powerful, he had to sever his ties to everything else. Instead of realizing that you become the strongest when you're trying to protect someone, Sasuke focused on the exact opposite:

Gaining strength through feeling pain.

Once more everything in his life but revenge became inconsequential, and Sasuke turned his back on Konoha and his friends, where he couldn't possibly hope to gain the strength he so desired nevermind that Naruto already did it. He joined the ranks of the Sound nin and Orochimaru, going so far as to let his body die in order to gain the more powerful level two of his Cursed Seal- something that, if used too much, could have the user lose their sense of self forever.

Even though Naruto came after him, telling him how important it was to him that Sasuke come back, the Uchiha wouldn't listen. He was beyond reason, believing it to be too late for himself, and although he admitted Naruto had become his best friend, he told him he intended to kill him and break his bond with him. All because he did care so much about Naruto. Because it would make him more powerful. During this fight, Sasuke is obviously aiming to kill the boy, intent on fulfilling his desire for more power. He only begins to waver when Naruto tells him that no, he can't understand the feeling of losing his family, but that he cares about Sasuke, and that's enough for him to want to save him. Sasuke doesn't outwardly look that moved by the speech, and the fight increases in intensity- but he seems to experience a moment of horror when he believes he's killed Naruto.

Eventually, when the fight has escalated into something entirely ridiculous, Sasuke defeated Naruto-- but didn't kill him. While his reasoning as to why seems unclear at this point, Sasuke vows to find his own way to kill Itachi and receive the same power as his older brother, and continues on to find Orochimaru.

At this point, Sasuke is still as fiery as he was when he lived in Konoha (demonstrated not only during the fight with Naruto, but when he back talks Orochimaru upon meeting him) but with a more vicious twist to him. He has tunnel vision for revenge and power and likely, is going to be less than pleased when he finds out his abilities have been stripped.

Character Abilities:
GENIUS
Not so much an ability as a state of being. Sasuke catches on very quickly, whether it be to a technique or to a situation. His teacher, Kakashi, describes him as boring to teach, because he learns and masters pretty well everything so quickly. Anything he can't learn only leads to continual training and fighting until he can do it, and once mastered, he will find a way to make it better.

JUTSU
- Taijutsu: literally 'body techniques' or hand-to-hand combat. Sasuke has been learning this way of fighting since he could stand. He's incredibly athletic with great endurance, strength, and speed. Sasuke is also proficient with ninja weapons such as the kunai, shuriken, razor wires and scrolls.

- Ninjutsu: literally 'ninja techniques', these rely on the manipulation and control of chakra. While Sasuke can easily perform jutsus like the replacement technique and transformations, his most commonly implemented and most impressive techiniques lie in his Fire Release and his Chidori. It's been noted that Sasuke has an alarmingly powerful chakra more than once in the series.

CHIDORI
Deserves a mention for how Sasuke comes to rely on it's destructive force. It's a lightning release technique and is essentially a huge gathering of chakra in the hand that is so concentrated, it becomes visible. It sounds like a thousand birds chirping, hence the name. It requires incredibly swift movement and creates such devastation that being hit directly is usually fatal. Despite it's loud sound, it's classified as an assassination technique.

SHARINGAN
Kekkei genkai or his Bloodline Limit, an ability that has been passed down in the Uchiha family. It has a number of abilities:
- granting to user the ability to see chakra flow
- increased perception allowing the user to easily recognize genjutsu (illusion techniques) and different forms of chakra, along with allowing the user to pick up on subtle details (reading lips at a distance, mimicking pencil movements) and to track fast moving objects
- the ability to copy and memorize ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu with perfect accuracy, as if with a photographic memory (though it doesn't work with other kekkei genkai or summons)
- hypnosis that can suggest actions and thoughts to the target through eye contact. when used with other aspects of the Sharingan, the user can mimic every move their opponent makes.
- depending on the user's knowledge of genjutsu and how advanced their use of the Sharingan is, that hypnotism can be taken to another level and be used to trick or trap an opponent with an illusion, put the opponent to sleep, replay memories, or in rare cases step into the very mind of the target. (Sasuke can't, at this point, manipulate his Sharingan in this manner quite yet.)

CURSED SEAL OF HEAVEN
A seal that has two levels. When activated to the first level, a black flame pattern spreads over his body and he is granted a substantial increase in chakra and physical power. When activated to the second level his physical appearance changes to something of a creepy monster with freaky deaky wings and an even further increase in power.

Character Weaknesses:
Sasuke's thirst for revenge and power is his greatest downfall, as it makes him impatient, and has him going to extremes that are incredibly unhealthy not only for himself, but for those around him. Once his mind is set in revenge, it's difficult- if not impossible- to get him to listen to reason. This single mindedness makes him blood thirsty and in many cases wild with his desire to become more powerful, so much so that he'll even attack his own friends to get them out of the way.

Next to his vengeance, Sasuke's pride is another crippling factor. He has been raised as 'special' and knows he's powerful, and isn't above flaunting this fact. He's been seen to avoid assistance if not because he thinks others will slow him down, then because he can't be humbled enough to ask. His pride will push him to engage in stupid acts just to prove something, such as using the Chidori a third time in one day when he knows it could very well kill him.

But for as vicious as he can be, Sasuke isn't without feeling. He does have attachment, and if he's to be swayed by anyone, it's most likely going to be Naruto. He nearly dies to save him at one point, and at a later time states he doesn't want to watch his friends (Sakura and Naruto) die in front of him. Though his actions in the point I've taken him from contradict this, what with his All Consuming Need For Hatred, you can't just erase your emotions, as much as Sasuke would like to try. After the Epic Fight he doesn't kill Naruto when has the chance, after all.

Otherwise, his family is a weakness, especially Itachi. His older brother is his driving force, and arguably the reason Sasuke has turned out the way he has. Whenever his brother comes up, it's as though he has blinders on and everything around him is inconsequential. His brother is the reason he uses the cursed seal, the reason he defects to Orochimaru, and the reason he abandons his friends. With Itachi as leverage, one could probably get away with almost anything in regards to Sasuke.

His jutsus have their own weaknesses, as well. With the exception of basic taijutsu moves, techniques require the use of chakra, and using too much of one's chakra can sometimes have fatal side effects. All of his attacks have limits, usually in how many times he can use them. He can only use his Chidori twice a day, for how much chakra it requires him to use. He cannot control his Sharingan as precisely as, say, Itachi can just yet, and should he stay in his Curse Form too long, it's said he could lose his mind.

Why your character should be a Weapon:
Sasuke is willing to go to any means to gain power, and says that he is willing to sacrifice his own body to someone else to get it. He has great firepower, but he generally needs to be directed in order to put that strength to use- even if that direction isn't necessarily a good one. Not to say he doesn't have a mind of his own, and it's likely he'll fight being someone's bitch not being strong enough to do things on his own, but I think it'll be an interesting challenge for him.

What is your character's Weapon form?:

BLINDFOLD - a simple, long black cloth. Sasuke's Sharingan eyes will appear in the cloth where the Meister's eyes are hidden, effectively allowing them to look out the same set of eyes. The weaker the resonance, the less effective this will be, ie; both of them looking different directions, blurred vision, etc.

While the basic ability of the blindfold will be an increase in athleticism, power, and speed - the other abilities granted depend on the strength of Resonance:

1. the Meister will be granted a limited version of Soul Perception. The ability to see the colour of the target's soul and any fluctuations in it's flow in regards to attacks they might do. This, in turn, will make the Meister more perceptive and hopefully quicken their reaction time. At this point, they'll also be able to physically mimic someone like a mirror.

2. the power to see, recognize, memorize, and replicate a move witnessed. The ability to actually copy the move, however, will depend on the Meister/Weapon's own physical power and star level. A one star Meister will, in most cases, be unable to replicate a three star Meister's move. A regular Weapon similarly would not be able to replicate a Death Scythe move. But they will be able to save it to memory and know what it is immediately should they see it again.

3. grants the Meister the offensive attack Chidori, wherein one of their arms lights up with electricity and effectively makes that hand act like a blade with strength enough to punch through walls. while extremely powerful, it takes a lot out of the Weapon, and can generally only be used once or twice. if resonation is extremely good, it can be used up to a maximum of 3 times before Sasuke will be all but unable to fight.

Otherwise he could probably be used to bind someone physically. Being a long piece of fabric and all. His partial form involves turning his arms into fabric, which he can use specifically for this purpose.
