Time to update since update since my last one was pretty much a short rant. I think I'll make this one about the trip back.

Flight was in the afternoon so I didn't have much to worry about. Had parents there and eventually my grandparents came to say goodbye. Bougth some presents for friends at the giftstore and when I saw that the "BOARDING IMMEDIATELY" sign was up next to my flight number, I decided it was about time to say goodbye and get on the plane. I don't really know if they meant us to board immediately on the 6:30 flight at about 6:10 but I'd guess we should. So I stayed there, looked at my gate and there was another plane information written on it. So of course I went to ask about it and the stewardess said it was the right gate. Moments later someone else came to ask about the gate and eventually a german couple (couples are everywhere I tell you) were discussing the flight in english so I stepped in and told them it was the right gate. We ended up boarding around 6:40 if not more but somehow we arrived right on time. During the flight I slept. Right before boarding I saw Natasha's mom and that was pretty interesting. We talked for a couple of minutes and then we were both separated by the hustle and bustle of finding seats on the plane. I'm pretty sure I just fell asleep but I could be wrong. I either stayed up reading Flowers for Algernon. Wait, I did. I had a whole row of seats to myself (3 seats) and I lay down and started reading when a person next to me told me it was his favourite book. We talked for a bit and that was that.

At the airport I had scheduled to meet a friend in front of a bookstore at around 8:30/9:00. I arrived at 8:10 and got through with what I had to do at around 8:20 so I went to the bookstore and looked around for stuff. I found a great book that was made into a realy great movie and had to by it. It's called "Meu Tio Matou Um Cara" or My Uncle Killed a Guy. It was really funny and If I get the chance to translate it, I really suggest someone takes the time to read it. Either that or learn portuguese but I'm not sure how many of you want to take another language much less portuguese. So I sat in front of the store and kept reading Flowers for Algernon. Once it got to 9pm I decided to go scavenging for my check-in place to know where it was (plane leaves at 12:55am). As I was going there I found another bookstore, same type, same location. So I was remembered that she had said it was near a McDonald's and a Pizza Hut. I looked around and found the Pizza Hut right next to this bookstore and the McDonald's not far away. So I went to the other one to make sure it didn't have any of these restaurants as well. It didn't so I went back to the other one (9:15). I then finished my book and sat there. At around 9:30 she finally showed up and we went to the check-in place. It took a while but by around 9:50 we were free. So we walked around and caught up on old times. We went to McDonald's for some food. I took some pics and if she lets me I'll post some up. Then she reminded me I had told her I would tell her something when we saw each other but I had almost forgotten about that. So I told her we'd talk about it after some ice cream, We got ice cream but they only had the chocolate one +yuck+. Got one anyway. So I told her that I wanted to hook up with her and I kind of felt bad about it. Since I had only gotten NO's from everyone in Brasilia (yes I went trigger happy with asking people on dates cause I decided I might as well tell people I have wanted to date them but never had dared to ask them before) I didn't expect anything to happen here. Then she said she didn't see any real problem with it. So we started planning all these random hideaway places at the airport or just any random thing to do as a "couple." A fun one was to get into a cab, ask him to go around the airport a couple of times while we fooled arounf in the back. Then we talked about her other boys and that was also nice. In the end we hooked up and all and we're still great friends. To this day, she is the only friend I've kissed. Yes, you can say "But you had 10 girlfriends. Don't they count?" I've only dated acquaintances and got to know them as friends after we started dating or after we broke up. Got on the plane and I think that this flight was the one I shared with another guy. As in it was a two seater and he sat beside me. We talked in english and portuguese for a bit, I read my book, and I fell asleep. It was a nice flight though. Nice and warm unlike here.

Time for Immigration lines. I went out to get the little forms your supposed to fill out about what you're bringing in to the country and your flight information and all that stuff. Went back and it was about 6:20 am local time. I managed to get out of the booth at about 7:43. My flight was boarding at 7:55 and left at 8:25. So I was rushing and stuff, got my bag, went to customs, handed in the bag, looked for the gate and finally was relaxed. I sat next to this Brasilian guy and this nice looking girl sat next to him. In front of him was his wife/fiance/girlfriend/friend. Next to his girlfriend and in front of my was this supposedly famous woman or one that all the male stewardesses knew. They'd be serving stuff or passing by and stop to talk to her for 5 minutes at a time and they would make exceptions for her like bringing her a cup of coffee especially for her just because they could. Never figured out what the relationship was there. Maybe an ex-stewardess or frequent flyer. So I wrote a letter to Cait on this trip. It ended up being two slightly larger than A4 papers. 2 and a third pages or writing and really bad pictures to fill in the bottom of this last page. Not much else happened on this flight.

Got to the airport and the finger that we disembarked to was so cold you could see your breath. That was interesting. I got my bags and waited for the train outside. Quite cold but not as much as I expected. I got on the train and started reading the Meu Tio Matou Um Cara after I paid for my ticket. After a while I arrived at Phili's train station and I got myself sugar and cinnamon pretzels which I think were too sweet in the end. I had to wait for about an hour for my train so I stayed there eating and reading my book. Then comes this handicapped person (in an electronic wheelchair with a keyboard or some other thing in front of her). She couldn't speak right and it seemes lie the muscles in her legs were attroficated. She would use her right hand to control the chair her left hand would usually just stay at her side. This really friendly "bell boy," guy who went around with a cart to help people with their luggage, talked to her and asked her questions. She would type them up on the screen and he would read them and answer back like a normal conversation. It was very touching. I then got in line to go down to my train and the nice guy came and told me and two other people that he could take us down to the train another way, since we had big luggage, so that we could get settled. I met loads of people from F&M on that train (15th). It was delayed quite a bit but we finally arrived in Lancaster and I was really happy that it wasn't as cold as it could have been. I got to the dorms and it was really nice and warm so I was really happy with that.

There were some other things that happened but that will have to be left for another entry.
