Time for an update (finally). I'm still in Brasilia and I may or may not be leaving for São Paulo this Saturday. That will be found out today when I go to the airport and get things straightened out with Varig (Brasilian company that is about to croak). Hopefully I can get an extension for like the 13th or 15th of July instead of the 1st ( Read more... )

I may be able to get you, Jess, Louis and other people from your group in to a hotel within walking distance of the convention (since Jeff Mates' house is somewhat unusable for the convention since it is a 40 minute drive away) but I need to know who is in your group very soon for me to get you the room.

Hmm, that's a little large. I think I can fit five.
While you be able to fit all nine at Jeff's?

He said it's quite possible since he does have a rather large house. Sure, we won't all be in beds and maybe not even on couches but there's more than enough room for people to crash.
