u should lecture ur parents.....about lecturing u....about ur relationship with god
If ur not comfortable around God, jon, than the relationship wont work out anyway..
You should go about being close to God ur own way and take ur own path
Everyone has their own door into seeking and knowing God
You just gotta find it and dont try to use some-one elses Passage

it's not that i'm not comfortable...but like i said, like any friendship, it takes more than just "yah we're friends"...yah i bet this is kinda hard to understand for some people

Parents think that becoming friends for youth is easy
Youth tend to judge people more harshly becuz they're suspicious
of what, i nayent ask
but that has nothing to do with God
the bottom line is its ur life and what ever u feel you need to do to create a firm ground with the Big G-Man (God) than do what it takes
No1 can tell you whats right or wrong for you

i agree, whatever feels right to you. sometimes it takes parents a while to get it but in the end i think you'll be fine.

Proud of you kid for trying. Just keep on getting into God's word and talking with Him. It is your own relationship and not theirs, but you can respect them because they know from experience how much God can help you with EVERYTHING. The more you know Him, the more you get that peace beyond all human understanding and what not ( ... )
