Okay, so I have a guest coming for four days next week. He told me he wants to see the forest and the ocean.

Need some ideas as to ocean-esque thing in this part-ish of WA. I'm not interested in driving to the Olympic Peninsula if you catch my drift.

Ferry ride! Or you guys could cruise around the Seattle waterfront (which would be cheaper...)

Yeah, or the water taxi. A visit to the Curiosity Shop is always fun (I think anyway).
