This novel showed Pips emotional roller coaster as a guide to choose your friends and role models carefully. It showed the most important people in your life would remain your family and friends. The people who really care about you will try and teach you the best they can. Ms Havisham is a character people should try to avoid. It reminds us to choose what we do and want carefully.
