if you were me, would you choose your start date to be august 8th or august 22nd?

if i was me and needed the money as desperatly as i do, i would say 8th.

if you dont need the money that bad, then the 22nd.

however, what message do you want to send to your employer? that you are eager to begin, or that eh......ill take a few extra weeks of vacation?

yea...that was what i would be worried about too....but i might have a legitimate excuse if i decide to take some summer classes

i say the 22nd too. it's the rest of your life....if they are giving you the option of putting it off then take them up on it. who the hell cares what they think of you...they already offered you the job.

I'd go with the 22nd. However, I'm lazy and unmotivated.
