Over the past year I've seen three great Indian movies: Rang De Basanti, Mangal Pandey, and Swades. Next time you're looking for something amazing to watch, I urge you to go and rent one of these three. Even if you can't understand Hindi, don't convince yourself not to rent them. All of the movies have English subtitles and many scenes in these

Though I can't talk about Mangal Pandey, the other two movies were extremely good. I could have hour long conversations about Rang de Basanti with basically anyone!

If anyone wants to watch that movie with me, I'm available. I'll probably buy the DVD.

Its movies like these that make me like Indian movies again. The movies with some sort of a meaning or message.
