I was going to say the same thing about the name of the street, and ask, "So, do you actually have a water view? Or are there just potholes that turn into little lakes when it rains?"

our balcony looks over a little lake/marsh but there are palm trees growing right in front of it so pretty much the view is of three palm trees.

i knew what the name meant i just think its DUMB! and i hate florida!

Locking keys in the car is sooooo a guy thing. Joe did it twice in the span of a month, once. He had been resistant to giving me a spare, but after he paid for pop-a-lock TWICE (to the tune of $70), he gave me a key.

Moving does suck -- can ya'll hire movers? It would soooo be worth it for a place w/two sets of stairs. Think about it!

yeah this is my second time in a month as well. when tim went out of town he accidentally took my car keys with him and i only had a spare ignition key so i had to get pop a lock to come open the doors and then drive around with my car unlocked for a week.

we thought about movers but i dont know if we can find them in less than a week. we have to wait for tim to get his relocation check anyway and who knows then that will come. it was supposed to be here today but fossil HR is stupid.

With less than a week, it might be easier to find movers than to find a U-Haul truck. :-/

I've locked my keys in my car like 5 or 6 times at least!!! Thanks to my family's membership with AAA (which i think is well worth it) the most it costs me is a 25 minute wait. And just yesterday, I grabbed my purse, locked the house door, and went to get in my car to go to class, and was like suddenly OH SHIT, keys were in the house. I hadn't made spare yet, so I got jeffery to take me to the realty place, take me to class, get a ride home, and back in.

LOL...that's too funny that the pop-a-lock guy suggested that.

The "funny" thing about Joe's locking-keys-in-the-car mishaps is that both times he did it (within the span of a month, at $35 a pop), it was about half a mile or less off campus, and he couldn't talk UPD into coming out (they'll do it for free if you're on campus). UGH.

I have a spare to his car, and he has one to mine, but, oh yeah, he lost his key ring (not that it matters since his car has a flat and he hasn't driven it in about 2 months -- long story). I just hope he doesn't lock my keys in my car when I let him borrow it, cause then we're SCREWED!
