How was the Magic Cruise? As soon as he's done with the store move, Steve should make a post! Jim, where's your post?! BK should write his "Around the world over two months" post.
It depends on my finances, but I'm thinking about going on MC2- depending on who is attending and how much stuff there is to do that's non-MTG.

ah-Zing!
as for non MTG activites, there's always shore excursions and the boat has shows/casino/entertainmetn options.
as for me and updating. man I've started to write abillion times and just... don't. not feeling it lately I guess. It'll come back though. 7+ years of having the journal. it goes in streaks.

PS - Was there scuba available? I'm thinking of becoming scuba certified for my AU trip. How much was snorkeling? Scuba? Drinks?
PPS - Yeah, it's like my third delete/repost. No edit key gdammit.

yeah scuba was available at cozumel anyway. Positive there will be several scuba options for this one. Outings cost anywhere from $20 for a simple tour to $100 plus for all day excursions.
We were actually reasonably surprised by drink prices on the boat. they weren't as expensive as we thought they'd be. like $5-6. At shore they varied greatly based on where you were. I got a beer in cazumel near the landing dock for $6 I think and I got 4 bottles of beer on a tour in Progresso for $5.

I'm considering the extra costs I would incur, and it seems close. Like, I can go to Asia for about 1k, though JPN would make that another grand just for a week there. Seoul would be significantly cheaper. If I went on the cruise, I'd probably end up 700-ish in the hole, and only because I can cash in FF miles to get to FL and back. I imagine you and Lindsey do the same. I'll definitely have to think about it more, though the cruise may fill up before I decide. Oh well.
All these travel deals are really crushing my "save up for my Honda Fit" plan. Man =(
